莪术烯醇具有显著的抗炎作用,能够显著抑制由脂多糖刺激引起的巨噬细胞中NO的产生。莪术烯醇属于愈创木烷型倍半萜,是五元环与七元环相互骈合的结构,但由于其水溶性很差,易溶于乙酸乙酯、氯仿等小极性有机溶剂中,影响了其制剂的形成和药物开发。
- 作用
异莪术烯醇具有行气破血、消积止痛之功效,用于瘀血经闭、食积腹胀等,是临床上较为常用的活血化瘀药物。
- 生物活性
Isocurcumenol 可从 Curcuma zedoaria Rhizomes 中分离得到,是 ERα 的抑制剂。具有抗肿瘤活性。其对 DLA 和 KB 癌细胞的 IC50 分别为 99.1 µg/mL 和 178.2 µg/mL。

Isocurcumenol (12.5-400 µg/mL, 24-48 h) dose-dependently inhibits cancer cells proliferation.
isocurcumenol does not exhibit any significant toxicity on normal chicken embryo fibroblast cells and lymphocytes.
