- 毛壳素是真核细胞组蛋白甲基转移酶SU(VAR)3-9和G9a的特异性抑制剂,可改变细胞染色质结构,影响表观遗传学调控,改变重要基因表达,在肿瘤治疗方面有潜在临床价值;在制备预防和治疗糖尿病药物中,可纠正糖代谢紊乱,降低血糖,改善胰岛B细胞功能,改善胰岛素抵抗,增强免疫功能,降低血清总胆固醇、甘油三酯等,改善血流变,阻止或延缓动脉粥样硬化,用于防治糖尿病心血管病变。
