L-803087 is a selective sst4 receptor agonist (Ki=0.7 nM, >280x selectivity over other sst receptors). It promotes AMPA-mediated hippocampal synaptic responses in vitro and increases mouse epilepsy in vivo, without inhibiting growth hormone/insulin/glucagon secretion.
