- 生命科学，是氢化可的松的氧化代谢产物，具有免疫抑制和消炎的作用；肾上腺皮质激素类药物，具有抗炎、抗过敏等作用，用于治疗肾上腺皮质低功能症、类风湿性关节炎、风湿病、红斑狼疮等病；生化研究，作为泼尼松醋酸酯的中间体，本身为抗炎剂。
