Ezetimibe phenoxy glucuronide (Ezetimibe glucuronide) is the active metabolite of Ezetimibe, which has anti-hyperlipidemic effects. After oral administration, Ezetimibe is absorbed in the small intestine and more than 80% of it is metabolized to Ezetimibe Glucuronide.
