(9E)-Tetradecen-1-ol is a pheromone isolated from the abdominal tip extract of female Bertha armyworm moths (Mamestra configurata). It alone has no significant attractiveness, but when mixed with (Z)-11-hexadecen-1-ol at a C16:C14 ratio of ~19:1, it shows male attractiveness.
