Cesium hydroxide is a corrosive, toxic, and water-reactive substance (UN 2682, Class 8, Pack II). It causes severe burns, eye damage, and respiratory irritation. Inhalation of dusts is harmful; ingestion is corrosive. It reacts violently with water, generating heat and toxic gases. Avoid contact with acids, metals, and moisture. Store in dry, sealed containers away from incompatible materials. Exposure limits: TLV-TWA 2 mg/m³. Emergency response requires SCBA and chemical protective clothing.

路线1：电解法

• 步骤：电解铯盐溶液制备。

路线2：碱分解法

• 步骤1：将铯矿石（如铯榴石）与石灰、氯化钙混合加热至800-900°C，或与氯化钠、纯碱混合加热至600-800°C，浸出后得氯化铯溶液；
• 步骤2：水热法，用Ca(OH)₂在200-280°C高压下碱浸铯榴石，直接得到低纯度氢氧化铯；
• 步骤3：向硫酸铯水溶液中加入氢氧化钡，生成氢氧化铯。
